So, Friday night:

The stand-up was awesome. He's so sharp and observant, and so, so funny. The party was pretty good. I had a nice little buzz (I was drunker than I thought, but it was nice) but it was a masters party for 3 CBS (Copenhagen Business school) graduates, and my god, most of the guys were in suits. It was a little strange, at a club. Stine, Ann and some of her guys who came later snuck out around 2 - they were going dancing, and I was SO in the mood, but I'm happy I didn't go.

Saturday: with pictures so you will feel sorry for me. ;p  )

Aaand then I went home, in hopes of sweet, sweet sleep. Unfortunately, upstairs neighbors were having a party where they played some more of their bad music and with me only getting the base through the floor, it was a really annoying thumping. HOWEVER. That wasn't the worst. On the ground floor (you know, four floors down from me) the girl living there had her 25th birthday party. There was singing. and for some reason, what sounded like SEVERAL HAND DRUMS. I am sadly not kidding you. But it was okay. They stopped after half an hour. ...

Also: Dear makers of the delicious "Spicy Mexican chicken bites": Yum. Awesome Sunday lunch, and really crispy. However, not being an authority on Mexican food or anything, I can still say that the sweet chili sauce you sent with the chicken isn't usually something I'd associate with mexican food. But it was good.

And other people knowledgable about owies: ( I apologized for grossness )

Tuesday afternoon I shaved my legs. I had my left leg up on the sink and the razor above my ankle. My foot slipped and I took off a strip of skin about 1x0,5 inch right above my ankle.

It's not deep, but it bled a lot. and it kept bleeding. and bleeding. ( I suspect I have thin blood. I seem to bleed a lot, when I do. ) it was still sort of bleeding yesterday afternoon. not as fast or as much, but definitly bleeding.

My mom always told me to not keep bandaids on during the night to let the wound air out, but as I said, it kept bleeding. also, it's a fairly big area, and I didn't want stuff to get in it, so I left it on.

This morning I woke up, and after putzing about for a while, I wanted to take the bandaid off and put a new one on - I actually would have left it, but there was a drop of something that ran from it - it was pinkish. (the bandaid I took off yesterday was very wet as well. is it infected? )

the problem:

it's stuck. I tried to take it off, but it really, really hurts.

for now, I've let it sit. I've wrapped some clean cotton wool around it, and then wrapped that in gauze, but please tell me what I'm supposed to do? (you're going to tell me that I have to take it off, right? >_< )

please halp!

ow. :/

what the hell is wrong withh people?

was in a ( completely minor ) hit and run last night. the guy's mirror hit me on the shoulder. he was driving so fast I heard the sound, looked up, he was at the end of the street, and then it started hurting. I first thought I had dislocated my shoulder or something, I couldn't really feel my fingers, and it hurt like a mother.

we waited 20 minutes for an ambulance, and when it came, the guys poked me and asked 'does this hurt?' ( it did ) and if I could walk ( I could ) and then told us to take a cab to the ER. what the hell? I mean, I get it, I was conciouss and all that, but the number of caps that had driven past us while we were waiting for the ambulance was probably around 20. ack.

after an intensenly uncoomfortable cap ride, we waited for three hours before I had a scrape cleaned by a nurse and was then poked and pulled and prodded by a doctor ( for about 5 minutes ) and then had to wait another 45 minutes or so, to get a piece of paper describing what had happened and a pamphlet about signs to look out for re: my 'open wound' in case of infection.

was home around 6.

my shoulder is still incxredibly sore. the impact was on the shoulder blade, which is also where the scrape is. I was trying to explain to Anna ( who was a trooper, by the way. she'd been at a party at her dorm and had been drinking since 11:30 AM and still helped me out. ) and the best I can describe it is like, the pain from the impact is like a persistant bass line, and the scrape is like the high notes that's what it feels like.

can move my arm, mainly from elbow down. lifting my arm and sort of rotating it in the shoulder joint is painful. last night, my whole arm felt like when you funnybone it, from shoulder to fingertips, and that was actually the worst part.

ew. I was supposed to do things this weekend and next week! I'm super annoyed, and feel sorry for myself. send padaleckis, plz.

>_< HOLY CRAP. screw yoga tomorrow. I pulled a muscle in my thigh the other day, trying to do this move she taught us last dance class, and it's been sort of sore ever since. then tonight we had to do the same move ( we do it once up to the mirror and back again ) about, oh, 20 times? and I pulled the same muscle. OW! :/ I realize that it probably would do it good to be all stretched and stuff, and if were a more relaxed yoga teacher and not like, a yoga nazi, I would have gone, but I know he wouldn't think it was a good excuse and totally not give me a break, so.

also, that class ends at 10:30, and I have to be at work an hour early, noon, and it would be kind of rushed. SO.

sleeping in tomorrow morning, and cleaning up, doing the dishes, and the work, and then climbing after that. :)
