So, the power adaptor came with the post (they tried to deliver it on monday, the ONE hour I left the house. Grrr.) So they delivered it on friday. It didn't work, and I wasn't surprised. I called Dell again and the guy I talked to was like, yeah we'll send a guy tomorrow. Which I thought was awesome and unexpected, that they were sending people out on weekends. He even left a message on my cell to confirm that the guy was coming 'tomorrow'.

So yeah, he didn't call or come by, which I was bummed out by, but not entirely surprised, more annoyed that I'd wasted half my Saturday and gotten up early. But a really nice guy came by Monday morning and fixed it. He changed the motherboard and the top of my computer and the trim around the screen - they had started to come apart at the bottom, so now it's good as new. :D

i kept the sticky cover on the top for a few days, but i had to spiffy it up. It looked so weird, cause I'm used to the other one. ( Look! )

I was in the middle of redoing the header for my new layout when the whole laptop thing happened, but now it's all done! :D :D :D Go see! I wanted a coffee icon for the longest time, but I couldn't find the right picture. Then I thought to myself, I thought, 'Self,' I thought, 'why not take a picture yourself?' so here's a delicious cup of home-made coffee with heart-shaped brown sugar that my mom gave me.

Also, my orchid is in bloom and it's so pretty. ( Don't look, Noora. )

Also3, I was bored one night and decided to use this glittery eyeliner I have (that isn't really good as an eyeliner, cause you have to scrub it off) to do some 'henna' art on my hand.

( Turned out pretty well )

I think they might be.
