So, Friday night:

The stand-up was awesome. He's so sharp and observant, and so, so funny. The party was pretty good. I had a nice little buzz (I was drunker than I thought, but it was nice) but it was a masters party for 3 CBS (Copenhagen Business school) graduates, and my god, most of the guys were in suits. It was a little strange, at a club. Stine, Ann and some of her guys who came later snuck out around 2 - they were going dancing, and I was SO in the mood, but I'm happy I didn't go.

Saturday: with pictures so you will feel sorry for me. ;p  )

Aaand then I went home, in hopes of sweet, sweet sleep. Unfortunately, upstairs neighbors were having a party where they played some more of their bad music and with me only getting the base through the floor, it was a really annoying thumping. HOWEVER. That wasn't the worst. On the ground floor (you know, four floors down from me) the girl living there had her 25th birthday party. There was singing. and for some reason, what sounded like SEVERAL HAND DRUMS. I am sadly not kidding you. But it was okay. They stopped after half an hour. ...

Also: Dear makers of the delicious "Spicy Mexican chicken bites": Yum. Awesome Sunday lunch, and really crispy. However, not being an authority on Mexican food or anything, I can still say that the sweet chili sauce you sent with the chicken isn't usually something I'd associate with mexican food. But it was good.
ihearthings_ii: (what's this 'homework' you talk about?)
last night, I went to the free diving class. that shit was hard, I'm not even kidding. I've always loved being in the water, and I'm a strong swimmer, but I'm a *slow* swimmer, and don't even start on crawling. I have no clue how to do that. I didn't, back when I actually took swim classes, I didn't when we had swimmning in school for PE, and I certainly don't now.

The warm-up was 4 lenghts of crawl, 4 of something he called 'flylegs' which I first did wrong and nearly got a cramp in my thighs, and then did *right* and it was much better but still hard, 2 figure 8 dives, which meant that you were to swim half a lenght, dive the rest, swim half a lenght back and then dive the rest and to finish it off, 2 figure 8 dives, where we did the diving in the deep end, and had to go all the way down.

it was *exhausting* ahahaha, I am so out of shape. and I really hate crawling. really. and I hate being put on the spot like that. we were only two girls, and the other girl had taken swimming. >_< typical.

Then we had to train how long we could hold our breaths. first 40 secs, then 50, then one minute, and we stopped at 1:15. I think I managed about 1:10, then I had to get up. I know I *just* popped my head up and then he gave the signal. I want to do at least 1:15, so I can beat JC. :p

and after that, he was like, 'hey you guys look cold, let's do a race.' *facepalm* we were divide into teams, and then had to swim back and forth one time with just arms, one time with just legs, and one time with crawl. halfway back with the crawl I swallowed about a gallon of water, and stopped. It's not really good for my ego, but man, if I don't get fitter in the next two months, really, there's nothing I can do.

Then I went home for about half an hour, then met up with the girls to watch 'Made of Honor' which was a very typical rom-com, but it was pretty cute. We went to a bar, and despite it being monday, me wearing glittery kids' wellies and no make-up and being stared at by three creepy guys, it was the most fun I've had in a bar-type setting in ages. Why is it that whenever you *plan* to go out, it's not as fun as the nights when it just happens?

Also, I'm at the Royal library right now, making good, studious use of their wi-fi, obviously. ahahaha, OMG I am such a tool. well, I've managed one page of my paper so far. ... 19 to go, yay me! *hides*
