So I skipped climbing wednesday, and I think it was a good decision. my leg is fine now. I went with Freja to Majbrit's place, and she'd made salad and lasagna which was yummy. we ate and had beer and talked and it was good. then we watched 10 things I hate about you on tv, and ahahahahahaha. omg. everybody's like. 10. Also, wow, David Krumholtz used to be unfortunate looking.

Friday we did yoga at school, and then had a single beer at the bar there ( wow I've outgrown that whole thing. I used to be so involved with all those things. ) Rasmus was there, and he was really handsy and I don't know why he's still acting like something's going to happen there. I know I'm not encouraging him.

Anyway, we went to this cocktail bar, and it was really fun. and cheap too. I had a strawberry daquiri and it was huge, like half a pint, a huge platter of nachos, a big midori sour ( yay! my first midori sour in denmark. I had to tell the girl what was in it, and she was kind of sceptical, but then she tasted it and was like, 'not bad'. ) and another half pint of something they called a 'prada' which was a lot like a pina colada except with passion fruit; and it all came to about 50 bucks. so going there some other time.

Last night Stine and Anna came here and we had pizza, and then a few other people showed up, and we got plastered. seriously. I did some serious mixing, vine and beer and vodka and champagne. yum. champagne. we started dancing around to old pop songs, Mysterious Girl and BSB songs, and it was so much fun.

we split up, with the intention of meeting up later. this one girl who only knew one girl out of all of us, didn't go with her, but came with my group to this bar, Bellagio. She was so annoying. we were next to each other at the bar, and she kept going, 'behind me, grey shirt. to the left, white tee. by the bar, black shirt. get his number, ask for a drink, etc etc.' and I mean, she didn't even know if I was single or not. Or, you know, my type. or. anything, really. that was annoying. Freja and I left at some point, and it's really close to where I live, so thank god for that. I was in bed around... four? I think. and then of course awake and god SO hung over, around eight.










also, can I just say that my new boots? RULE. they are sexy and cool, and cost me about 15 bucks and I wore them out both friday and saturday, and my feet? are fine. totally, completely fine. \o/









also, stellamira gave me W for Winchester for the music meme, so here's ten (... ish. okay, I got a little carried away. ) songs starting with W and the reason why I chose them.






Marc Cohn - Walking in Memphis

I don't think I can really explain my love for this song. I love this song so much, I even love bad covers of it. I love the melody, the lyrics, I love the 'Ma'am I am tonight!' I love. god, I love this song.



Oasis - Wonderwall

I always really liked this song, even when I wasn't too sure about the rest of their stuff. Hmmm. It's one of those songs that I don't skip when it comes on randomly, you know?



Sarah McLachlan - World on fire. I really like the song, but I especially like the video.



Starsailor - Way to fall

I've only ever listened to their first album, but I really quite like Starsailor. I saw them in concert at Roskilde in 2002, and they were so good live, too. I really dig his voice.



David Jacobs-Strain - Wild Bill Jones

This guy played a set at our local bar in Chestertown, and he just blew me away. He's incredibly talented ( and really handsome... ) and I bought his two CD's right then and there. If you like folk, you should definitely check him out.



BEP - Where's the love?

Okay, I did get pretty sick of this song, but I think it's a good song, still.



Fairground Attraction - Whispers

Man, I love Fairground Attraction. I love that single album so much, and this song especially. I think it's beautiful, and I'm so blown away by Eddi Reader's voice.



Jason Mraz - Wordplay

wheee! He's such a dork, and I love that. And I love his geekiness and all the yes, wordplays.



Guns 'n' Roses - Welcome to the jungle

yay! I mean, come on. this is just an awesome song. \o/ and yes, 90% of the concert sucked ASS at Roskilde, but this one is always a crowd pleaser.



Louis Armstrong - We have all the time in the world and What a wonderful world

I love this kind of music. I love his voice, I love him, and I love these songs. they make me happy.



John Mayer - Waiting for the world to change

Okay, maybe it's a rip-off. No it's not exactly saying something we haven't heard before, it's not groundbreaking in any way. But it's still a good song that I really enjoy.



Hedwig and the angry inch - Wig in a box

Woo, Hedwig!! Love the movie, love this song.



Greenday - When I come around

I think this was the first song I heard by Greenday and I really liked it, and it remains my favorite of theirs.



My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the black parade

So after I don't know how long, of listening to my flist being all \o/ about MCR and not knowing anything about them, one day this song was played on MTV and I really liked it, and it made me make Sam's 'huh' face. I really like the entire album, actually.



Queen - We will rock you & We are the champions

Well. I love Queen, and these are classics for a reason.



Rolling Stones - Wild Horses

I am so in love with this song, and it will always remind me of my summer in Ft. Lauderdale.



Eva Cassidy - Woodstock

Uh. I like her version better than the original. Is that bad? *shameface* but then, I do love this version.
