Hi lj. I can't wait for the 25th when I am off for the summer.

life: am studying. sort of. it's boring, and I have no self-dicipline. I vaguely remember promising god and satan and vishnu and other deities eternal devotion and that I would study for my exams from now on, if I got a good grade on that makeup paper, which I did. hmmm.

work: Am working lots with new chick who does things like this:

me: so, I'll show you how to close up the cash register so you can do it tonight, alright?
new chick: alright.
me: alright, first *explains and demonstrates*
nc: *stares at nothing*
me: *explaining away*
nc: *still staring* *
me: so, there it is. pretty simple, right?
nc: huh?

*it is possible that she's pondering life's mystery or trying to remember the 56346863463 decimal of Pi, but I doubt it.

fandom: working on three things at the moment. possibly four. mmmm, the sweet taste of procrastination.

also, I have been so good at gymming. I'm pretty sore and stuff, but I'm starting to get it right, I think, with the weight on the machines and everything, and I am up to 20 minutes of actual running on the treadmill. it's not fast running, but who cares.

in other news, someone should come keep me company, or, I need to get a cat. yes.

Oh man, I've so been there, you don't even know. And I was watching the season 1 finale at the time, which made the car crash 100x an emo experience than it would have been otherwise.

Not a pet person in general. Yeah, cats work best w/ apartments. Fish does, too, but you can't pet a fish.

which I just. I don't. not for stuff like that. and you have to keep your eye on her the entire time, cause if you don't, she'll stop working. seriously.

I went to clean the customer bathroom, which of course means that there's a closed ( two, actually ) door between me and the customers, so I can't see them, should they come into the shop. and then I remembered something I needed to clean the toilet, and I opened the door and called for her, to see if she could hand it to me ---- and she'd left.

to go to the bathroom or whatever, but you can't do that, you know? just, really. think, New Girl, THINK.
