Out here in the fields

Hee! Okay then. Tagged by [livejournal.com profile] adelate, [livejournal.com profile] jewelianna and [livejournal.com profile] llumi.

Rules of the game:
A) People who have been tagged must writetheir answers on their blogs and replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.
B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by and cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to otherpeople.

There are some extra numbers in there, because well, I was tagged three times.

1. How has LJ changed your life? God. There are so many awesome people I wouldn't know if it wasn't for LJ, and so many awesome experiences I wouldn't have had. There are a lot of batshit crazy up in here, but there are also so many awesome and cool people around who have done things, and are doing things, and that's vague and weird, but in a lot of ways, people on LJ have made me know myself better.

2. What do you do before bedtime? I usually read. Lately, [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang stories. I'm working my way through them, slowly but surely.

3. What are three questions that you ask the most?

1. What's up?
2. What time is it?
3. ... but *how*?

4. Are you happy with your career? And if you don't have one or are not happy, what is your dream job? Uh, well. My job at the bakery I keep only because I need the money and because the other girls are my friends. My job teaching Danish is pretty cool. I'm only teaching the Israeli guy, and he's funny and so smart, and I've never known so much about Israel and its foreign politics. It's interesting.
School however? Urgh, stupid dissertation. I'm sick of it, and of my own inability to get it done.

5. What is your pet peeve?
Uh, I kind of have a lot.

6. Do you believe in fate/destiny? Soul mates?
I kind of don't want to believe in fate or destiny. I dislike the idea that I have no impact over my life or that the choices I make are irrelevant for the final outcome. Soul mates? Sure, if it doesn't mean that there is only one soul mate for every person. Those are some really bad odds.

7. Do you trust easily?
Kind of, but at the same time, not at all. I am always pretty sceptical of people's motives.

8. Do you believe in always choosing what is best for the most amount of people (saving many by killing few)? Could you do it with your own hands? [Here's an example that was in the Times: You're hiding out underground with a bunch of other people and there are soldiers hunting you. If they hear one sound, they will find and kill you. A baby starts to cry. Could you kill the baby yourself? Could you endorse killing the baby? What if it was yours?]

Um. That's not a fun question. Well. I think that yes, if it was a desperate situation, and my own life depended on it, then I probably could endorse killing the baby. I don't know if I'd be able to do it myself. But in this scenerario, it kind of seems like the baby is going to die either way. I don't know. I think it's been proven a lot of times that there are very few limits to what people will do in desperate conditions, to try and survive.

8. What are three things you would wish for at this very moment?

1: to be done with my dissertation AND get a good grade on it.
2: To have a good job.
3: Not feeling so meh.

9. What never fails to make you smile?
People being happy. Like, looking at Jared's big smiling face, you know, how could you not smile back?

10. What is your favorite type of ice cream?
I love mint chocolate chip.

10. If you had sex with your clone, would that be considered masturbating?
I don't think so.

11. Is being tagged fun?
Sometimes.

12. Do you plan things or are you more impulsive?
Both, really. It depends. When I was in the States and travelling around a bit, I planned meticulously, because there were other people involved, people who hadn't travelled by themselves before, and counted on me to know what to do; and there were schedules to keep and planes to catch and so on and so forth. When I travelled by myself, everything except the first two stops were just impulse. (and it was awesome.)

13. Does it annoy you when you keep seeing the same questions in surveys?
Surveys? Or memes? Sometimes, if it's a question I don't want to answer, then yes.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
All three of them are awesome women.

15. Would you rather be intelligent but have the weight of the world on your shoulders or ignorant and happy?
Um. I'm quite happy as I am, which is somewhere in the middle. Yes I know that doesn't answer the question, but extremes of any kind, kind of make me uncomfortable.

16. How many children do you want to have, if any?
Well as of right now, I'm not sure I want any.

17. What's your favorite word, why?
I like rococo. It's a ridiculous word.

18.If you had the opportunity to sunbath naked withno risk of sunburn but a possible risk of being seen... would you?
Um. No I don't think so.

18. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?
I have no clue. I'll get back to you if that ever actually happens to me.

19. What's your worst habit?
Procrastination. God. But damn, I'm good at it.

20. Are you happy with your gender?
Yes. Although when I was in my early teens, I had a short period where I really, really wanted to be a guy. I made my friends call me Chris.

I have no idea who to tag. I think this meme has done the rounds, but hey, you! You should totally do it.
adelate: Min Yoongi with his eyes closed on an orangey yellow background about to take a sip out of a yellow Teema coffee mug (yes I am a dork)
