ahhh shit. it's not really good to have your upstairs neighbors pissed off at you before they're really even moved in, is it?

>_< crapola. I was watching smallville and there was a lot of noise, and I didn't hear my doorbell ( which isn't so much a bell as a--- sort of rumbling buzz. ) and the after it had been buzzing for a while, I finally heard it, and I said, you know, 'hello' over the intercom thingie, and the person on the other end said, 'OPEN THE DOOR FOR FUCK'S SAKE' and I was like, '...' and did.

people have been running back and forth on the stairs, they're moving into the apartment above mine. anyway, after I'd opened the door I waited for them to come up the stairs, and the first guy I saw, I was like, 'maybe next time you could use the right button?' and he said, 'that wasn't me', and I said, 'well whatever, please use the right button the next time, I don't appreciate getting cussed at.' and he told me that it was his friend, and that he'd thought his girlfriend was answering. which, my name is right there on the button. in fact, my button is the only one you can really read the name on. and also, how hard is it to find the right button if you're looking for the top one? anyway, I was like, 'next time, use the right button, and he's like, 'okay. and by the way I'm the new upstairs neighbor,' and I kind of said, 'yeah I got that'' and then I kind of slammed the door shut.

eeeep. that was so rude. *facepalm* I'm gonna have to apologize to him the next time I see him, and man, I hate that. there's nothing worse than that. but seriously. I got so pissed off! meh. now I'm all paranoid, hoping I won't run into him. or them. well. I never actually saw the guy who'd done it. ngggggh crap.

Er, it sounds like he should be apologising to you for pissing you off, instead of the other way around. ;-)

I agree, if someone should apologize, it should be him, not you. Um. 'You' CJ, not you, zortified. How confusing. Anyway!

Good!

awh. well, the guy who actually did it, apologized. I *was* kind of annoyed with the other guy for explaining it away instead of giving me a simple apology.

and man, I totally slammed the door right in his face. I've never done that before. 3 days without sleep + PMS + hungover will apparently do that to me.

I agree, they should apologize to you. They were the ones that made the mistake, ringing the wrong bell. Grr.

apparently he didn't? I'm still not sure I believe him. huh.

That was awkward.

really was. thankfully I saw the other guy and we're straight. thank god. his parents own the building. and also, I would have fretted over that until it got solved.

thank goodness! and you all lived happily ever after. :D
