guys. GUYS. so, I went to school, cause sitting around here drove me insane. I was there like, three hours before I was supposed to, but it was kind of nice, and I hung out with some people I haven't seen in a while, and relaxed enough to feel hungry, and I had some breakfast, and I did only a minimum of that nervous last-minute reading where you really aren't reading, only tearing at the pages thing.

and then I realized that the examination was 45 minutes instead of 30, which made o_O and >_< all over the place.

then I went in and got my question - I had to choose one of the two Paul Auster books I'd put on my reading list, and I had to concentrate on one or two postmodern elements in in. I had 45 minutes to put it together, and then I realized I'd forgotten my alarm clock, so I had no clue how much time I had in preperation which stressed me out really bad.

The examination --- well I did what I always do in oral examinations, I speak really really really fast and make my point in about 10 minutes, and then I'm done. and my prof. had to ask me questions all the time which made me so nervous, cause that usually isn't a good thing.

BUT. BUT! god, when they had to discuss my grade ( and now the judges will deliberate.... ) I was a wreck. but I got a 9 ( B+/A- ish) for the exam itself, and then I got an 11 -- a friggin' 11!!!!! that's an A! for oral proficiency. ( teehee. wink wink, nudge nudge ) the 9 is super nice and great and good and far better than I had expected, but the 11? that's my final English Oral Proficiency grade. that's just. I am so fucking happy. They said that, I should really try and use more technical terms ( I know. I always get that one at oral exams, but I get so damn nervous, all my big words just. poof. ) but that my English was so fluent they thought I was a native speaker. *squee*
