back from a two-hour gym session. well. one and a half, the last half hour was steam shower and regular showering, which was mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I didn't do regular crunches like I usually do, but I did it on this machine thingy. I can't feel it like I usually can, so I'm a little sceptic. although it was much better on my back and neck than usual crunches.

I also did the step machine AND the treadmill, and the step machine, and the step machine made me sweat more than the treadmill. does anybody know if I can do the stepmachine instead of the treadmill? cause, as I've mentioned before, I don't like running. plus, I am out of shape, so I'm not good at it, I my knees really suffer. and the cross-trainer bores me silly. the stepmachines agreed with me a bit more. *shrugs*

I am so envious of all you people going to Fort Worth and seeing Jensen - be good, and have fun!! and oh, The Padalecki makes my heart sing, yo. If he didn't have Sandy, and he wasn't the size of a small house and I wasn't the size of a garden gnome, I would be ALL OVER THAT. *sigh*

Now I shall go finish up my Bible entry.

Well, apparently he likes girls the size of garden gnomes, so, y'know, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I read somewhere the stepmachine burns more calories...but don't take it for the stone truth.

ooooh. as long as it isn't significantly less, I'm happy, really.

awh, thanks. I may have to practice walking with stilts. I was pretty good at it in kindergarten, actually, but I've never really done it since...

Yay, gymming! When you put your mind to something, you really mean it!

A stair machine is fairly comparable to a treadmill; the biggest difference is the muscle groups being used, which is why the impact levels are totally different. It's not necessarily less impacting on joints than a treadmill (depending on the settings of each, of course) but they are different impacts, so if the step machine agrees with you more than the treadmill, go for it!

excellent! it's really just for, you know, cardio and a good calorie burn, so all the other stuff doesn't matter that much. as long as it doesn't burn significantly less than the treadmill.
