Today is:

- Saturday.

- 39 years since my parents got married. (yay mom and dad! :D )

- The last day of World Out Games which has been hosted by Copenhagen this year, which has meant a lot of awesome LGBT related stuff - the guy I taught, Dan, invited me to a concert with Ivri Lider the other day, which led to drunk!CJ before six on a wednesday. (Ivri Lider is one of the most succesful Israeli popstars. He also happens to be gay.) And even though I understand like, two words of Hebrew, it was still really, really cool. He also did a cover of I Kissed A Girl. :P.

The other day, the official cathedral of Copenhagen had a service, and after that, gay and lesbian couples could have their unions blessed (in several different languages, including sign-language), and the minister of the cathedral has been so awesome and vocal about it. (I attended a wedding in the cathedral, and the pillars outside where decorated like so.

Sadly, despite civil unions, Copenhagen Inclusive Churches, and many ministers giving their blessings to LGBT civil unions, it is still not legal for non-straight couples to be married in a church. We're working on that one.

- Copenhagen Pride Parade. Highlights: the hotness, all the awesome costumes, the ass-less chaps, the truck dedicated to cave-man outfits, the military/police/etc. men and women in their uniforms (yes please), seeing the rainbow flag being flown from the top of Copenhagen City Hall, and the truck dedicated to the 20th anniversary of civil unions in Denmark.

Tonight we party it up home-coming style. Stine's hardcore, man. She was back-packing in south-america for three weeks, and then attended a wedding in LA, and she came home two days ago.

... so I think a nap might be in order.
