It didn't just feel like meaningless porn, the sex really drove the story somewhere new, drove Adam and Kris to a new place in their relationship/new realizations about themselves - such good writing! I love that it's in a stage in their relationship when they're together but haven't quite worked everything out about being together - you described that situation so perfectly, and also it's a rarely-written-about-stage in this fandom so far so was even more of a delight to read in that sense. I love your vulnerable!Adam, but HBIC!Adam is even hotter, as is Kris in that last very dirty-hot sex scene, ;). They both feel very - in character, as sacreligious as using that phrase in RPF still feels to me. Yay for good fic!
